Summary

I'm Annie, the founder of Strawberry Cow, a new premium handbag brand based in Ireland. The brand is inspired by a whimsical vintage, girly aesthetic, with a focus on beautifully crafted novelty handbags that combine playful design with high quality construction. My goal is to create products that feel luxurious, unique and collectible, with a long term vision of expanding into a full fashion and accessories brand. The Project I'm looking for an experienced handbag product developer to help bring my first handbag to life. The first designs are a structured teapot shaped handbag, and a butter dish shaped handbag. I already have concept artwork and a clear creative vision I am not looking for someone to create the idea from scratch. Instead, I need someone who can transform my concept into a product that is ready for manufacturing. I'm looking for someone who can: Develop the design for production Advise on construction and functionality Recommend suitable materials and hardware Create a professional manufacturer ready tech pack Support the sampling and prototype revision process Communicate with manufacturers if required Ideal experience I'd love to hear from designers who have experience with: Luxury or premium handbags Structured handbags Novelty handbags (or similarly complex accessories) Product development from concept through production Working directly with manufacturers Tech packs and sampling Experience with brands such as Kate Spade, Betsey Johnson, Coach, Braccialini, Vendula London, Radley, or similar is a bonus. Project type Initially this is for two handbags, but I'm hoping to build a long-term relationship as Strawberry Cow grows and new collections are developed. When applying, please include: Examples of handbag projects you've worked on. Whether you've developed products through to production. Whether you offer fixed price projects. Your approximate timeline for completing a handbag tech pack. I'm excited to hear from you!
