Summary

About us Sylvan Labs is a B2B AI company backed by some of the top VCs in the world. Our product is designed for post sales teams (Customer Success and Account Management) to help them proactively retain and expand account dollars at scale. Under the hood, the product is a workflow automation tool that lets our customers operationalize playbooks that are triggered by predictive churn and expansion signals computed by our proprietary models. In terms of UX/UI, we're building a data-heavy and highly interactive product where many of the core flows lead into AI-centric experiences: surfacing model computed scores and their drivers, letting users configure agentic playbooks, and presenting model reasoning in ways non-technical users can trust and act on. At a high level it has the following components: + Account Scores and Suggested Workflows module + A workflow builder / canvas (in the vein of n8n or Zapier) with triggers, branching logic, delays, AI-agent nodes, semi-automated steps, node-level testing, versioning, and per-node input/output schema and table views. + Workflow performance reporting across multiple pivots: execution logs, breakdowns, cohort analyses, nested tables, and more. + Dashboards on accounts, reps, and other entities with breakdowns, drill-down modals, and cross-filtering between visualizations and tables. Scope of work + Produce final high-fidelity mockups in Figma for new modules as and when they're scoped, within our existing design language and consistent with prior modules. This spans both UX (flows, interactions, modals for dense modules etc.) and UI (the final high fidelity visual design). - Understand the business context behind each spec, not just execute pixels. You should be able to read a data-heavy spec, understand why a CS leader or workflow owner needs it, and make sound decisions where the spec leaves room. - Iterate on designs based on feedback from our product and engineering teams. - Deliver engineering-ready designs our team can build against as-is: clean, organized files with proper components, states, and edge cases handled. - QA modules built by engineering against the finalized designs and flag discrepancies before they ship to production. What's already in place + An established design language and a library of high-fidelity Figma designs across several core modules. + A component library you'll work within, so you're not defining brand or visual identity from scratch. + A steady pipeline of newly scoped modules as we build out the product. That's where we need you. + Available product managers who can help with all context for each flow and interface that needs to be designed. What we provide for each module + Detailed spec documentation covering context, user flows, interactions, triggers, system responses, and field-level requirements. + Low or mid-fidelity mocks or wireframes showing the intended structure. + Our existing Figma design system and component library. Ideal candidate + Strong portfolio of complex B2B AI software or enterprise product work: dashboards, data tables, admin tools, automation builders, analytics, or similar. Please point us to the most complex, data-dense product you've designed. + Able to work in Figma, with final high-fidelity mocks delivered there. + This is not a marketing site project or a simple CRUD app. The right person is comfortable working with dense, complex information and making it clear and usable. + Comfortable working in ET hours with meaningful overlap to collaborate as needed. Communicative and self-directed: you know how to unblock yourself by asking the right questions, stay reachable over Slack (or similar), and are comfortable getting on a call to present and discuss your work live. If interested Share sample mocks of your design work on product modules similar to the ones described above and tell us briefly about the work itself and how it relates to what we're building.
