# Full-Time Video Editor / Creative Content Editor I’m looking for a talented **video editor based in India** to join my team long-term and help manage content across my fitness and business coaching brands. This is not a role where I want someone who simply waits for instructions on every cut. I’m looking for someone who understands **YouTube, Instagram, short-form content, storytelling and retention**, and can eventually grow into more of a **Creative Director** role within the business. ## What You’ll Be Editing You will primarily be working on: * Long-form YouTube videos * Instagram Reels * YouTube Shorts * Talking-head educational content * Vlogs / lifestyle content * Fitness content * Business / coaching content * Client transformations and testimonials * Promotional / sales content ## Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for: * Editing engaging long-form YouTube videos * Turning long-form videos into short-form clips * Creating high-retention Instagram Reels and Shorts * Adding B-roll, captions, graphics, sound effects and music where appropriate * Improving pacing and removing unnecessary parts of videos * Helping strengthen hooks and introductions * Identifying boring sections before they hurt retention * Suggesting creative editing ideas * Organising content and meeting deadlines consistently * Learning the style of my brands so less direction is required over time As the role develops, I want you to become involved in: * YouTube video concepts * Hooks * Titles * Thumbnail ideas * Content strategy * Analysing which videos perform best * Improving audience retention * Helping manage the overall creative direction of the brands ## Who I'm Looking For You should: * Have strong experience editing YouTube and short-form content * Understand modern creator-style editing * Understand attention, pacing and viewer retention * Have good creative judgement * Be able to work independently * Take feedback well * Communicate clearly * Be reliable with deadlines * Want a long-term position rather than short-term freelance projects Experience with **Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software** is preferred. You do NOT need to use excessive animations or effects. I care much more about **storytelling, pacing, retention and making videos enjoyable to watch.** ## Hours & Pay This is intended to become a **long-term / full-time position**. Approximately: **20-30 hours per week** Starting rate: **$10–15 USD/hour depending on experience and quality.** There will be opportunities to increase your pay and responsibilities as the brands grow.
