WordPress Developer with Strong PHP & Custom Development Experience

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with strong PHP and custom development skills to work with our team on a project-by-project basis. We regularly handle multiple client projects, and we are looking for an independent freelancer who can step in and support our development team when we are overloaded with work. What You’ll Be Doing:- - Developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites - Developing and customizing WordPress themes - Developing, customizing, and extending WordPress plugins - Writing custom PHP functionality and WordPress features - Creating custom post types, taxonomies, fields, and admin functionality - Working with ACF and other WordPress development tools - Integrating WordPress with third-party APIs and external services - Troubleshooting and fixing existing WordPress, PHP, theme, and plugin issues - Converting Figma/design files into responsive WordPress websites - Customizing existing themes and plugins based on project requirements - Optimizing WordPress websites for performance, security, and functionality - Working on both new WordPress builds and existing client websites - Reading and understanding existing codebases and making clean, maintainable changes How We’ll Work Together:- This is a freelance support role, rather than a full-time position. We will reach out when our internal team is overloaded and we need additional development support. We are looking for someone reliable who can become a long-term development partner and take ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
