Migrate a live custom Laravel website to Hostinger shared hosting — zero data loss

Summary

I need an experienced Laravel developer to migrate my existing live website to a new Hostinger shared hosting plan (Business plan). The site is a custom application built on Laravel (PHP), currently live on another shared/cPanel host. I'm moving it to Hostinger's Business shared plan. I'll provide access to both the current host and the new Hostinger account. The app is finished and fully functional — this is a migration job, not development. The site has forms that write directly to the database and receives submissions continuously, so zero data loss during cutover is the top priority. Important: this is a CUSTOM Laravel app, not WordPress, so Hostinger's automated free migration won't handle it. I need someone who knows how to deploy a Laravel app on shared hosting correctly. Please note: if this migration goes smoothly, I have a larger development project lined up right after it (a full front-end rebuild of the same site), and I'd want to continue with the right person. I'm looking to build a reliable, long-term working relationship — not just a one-off — so please treat this first job as your audition for the bigger one. Full scope — please treat all of this as included in your fixed price: MIGRATION - Transfer the complete application from the current host: all code/files, plus ALL uploaded files and media — including all product images, blog images, category images, and any customer-uploaded files (from the storage/uploads folders) — not just the database - Migrate the full MySQL database with zero data loss. This includes ALL site content: every product (250+), all blog posts, all categories, all menus, all form submissions, and all other records — nothing left behind - Preserve the exact URL structure: every existing URL must remain identical after migration (do NOT change, clean up, or restructure any URLs). All existing redirects and the site's internal linking structure must be preserved exactly as-is - Set the site up on Hostinger with the Laravel /public folder correctly serving as the web root (adjusting document root / index.php paths as needed for shared hosting) - Configure the .env, preserving the existing APP_KEY (do not regenerate it) - Set the correct PHP version with all required Laravel extensions, run composer install, set correct file/folder permissions, and run storage:link - Set up the cron/scheduler, plus queue workers if the app uses them - Set up free SSL (Let's Encrypt) with auto-renewal CUTOVER (zero data loss) - Because forms write directly to the database and submissions come in continuously, take the FINAL database export at cutover with the old site briefly frozen, so no records are lost between export and go-live - Confirm everything works on Hostinger BEFORE any DNS change (checklist below) - Point the domain to Hostinger and issue SSL. If the site is behind Cloudflare, handle the DNS/SSL change there accordingly - Leave the old host untouched as a fallback for at least a week "WORKING" means, tested before cutover: - All pages load correctly - A sample of products, blog posts, and category pages all load correctly WITH their images, confirming all content migrated (product count on the new site should match the old site) - I can add, edit, and delete a product and a blog post, and create a redirect, from the admin panel — confirming the CMS is fully functional, not just viewable - A sample of existing URLs resolve identically to the old site, and existing redirects still work (no broken links, no changed URLs) - Forms submit and correctly save to the database; any file-upload fields work - Admin/CMS login works - Images and media display across the site - SSL shows valid (padlock) AFTER GO-LIVE - Fix any migration-related issues at no extra charge for 7 days after go-live - Provide short written documentation (what was configured, where files live, and how to manage the site in hPanel) To confirm you've read this in full, please START your proposal with the word "READY" and confirm your fixed price covers this entire scope, including your delivery time. Proposals that don't begin with "READY" will not be considered.
