WordPress Developer & Content Publishing VA for Structured Review Project

We are starting a new WordPress-based content project focused on producing *high-quality, structured reviews and editorial articles*. We are looking for a reliable *WordPress Developer + Content Publishing VA* who can help us set up the workflow and then manage the regular production and publishing of content. This is intended to become a *long-term position* for the right person. The project will eventually include an AI-assisted review workflow that helps with research, structured evaluation, scoring, article generation, and quality checks. We need someone who can work with both the WordPress side and the content-production side. ## What You Will Do ### WordPress Development * Manage and maintain the WordPress website. * Create and configure WordPress content structures for reviews. * Work with custom post types, custom fields, taxonomies, and Gutenberg. * Make frontend/content layout adjustments when needed. * Install and configure plugins when required. * Troubleshoot WordPress issues. * Work with APIs and third-party integrations when needed. * Help connect our future AI review workflow with WordPress. * Create and maintain reusable review templates and publishing workflows. ### Content & Review Publishing You will regularly help produce and publish structured reviews. The workflow will generally look like: *Research → Evidence → Evaluation → Rating → Article → Quality Check → WordPress Draft → Publish* You will be responsible for: * Researching products, services, businesses, software, and other subjects. * Collecting relevant information and sources. * Organizing information into our review framework. * Preparing structured reviews. * Creating pros and cons. * Preparing ratings and explanations. * Formatting articles in WordPress. * Adding images, links, tables, and other content elements. * Basic on-page SEO. * Reviewing articles for quality and consistency. * Publishing approved articles. ## AI-Assisted Content Workflow We are developing an AI-assisted system to help streamline the review process. The system will eventually handle things such as: * Research assistance * Evidence collection * Structured evaluation * Rating generation * Article drafting * Quality checks * WordPress draft creation Your role will be to *operate, review, and improve this workflow*, rather than simply copy and paste AI-generated articles. You should be comfortable reviewing AI output and recognizing when information is: * Unsupported * Repetitive * Too generic * Incorrect * Overly promotional * Missing important context Human editorial judgment is important to this project. ## What Makes a Good Review We don't want generic articles such as: "This is a great product with many useful features." Our reviews should help readers make an actual decision. A good review should answer: * What exactly is being reviewed? * Who is it best for? * Who should avoid it? * What was evaluated? * What are its strongest features? * What are its weaknesses? * How does it compare with alternatives? * What evidence supports the conclusions? * What does the final rating actually mean? * Is it worth the money/time/effort? Publishing the first batch of reviews. 6. Identifying problems in the workflow. 7. Improving the process as we scale.
