Wordpress developer / Woocommerce for speed optimization
Worldwide
We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to help us maintain, improve, and develop our existing WordPress website. The website is already up and running, but we have a number of things we want to improve from fixing bugs and plugin conflicts to improving functionality, responsiveness, and overall performance. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with an existing WordPress codebase, can troubleshoot issues independently, and can make improvements without breaking existing functionality. What You’ll Work On Maintain and improve our existing WordPress website. Fix WordPress and WooCommerce bugs and technical issues. Develop and improve custom WordPress functionality. Work with existing themes, plugins, and custom code. Troubleshoot plugin and theme conflicts. Make frontend and UI improvements. Improve mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. Optimize PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and WordPress code. Improve website performance and loading times. Work on PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals where needed. Optimize images, caching, scripts, and other website assets. Optimize WooCommerce functionality and product/category pages. Make basic technical SEO improvements when required. Performance Our website currently has some performance issues, particularly on mobile. We’d like to improve the Google PageSpeed score and Core Web Vitals, but we understand that a 90+ score is not always realistic without compromising the design or functionality. The goal is to make the website noticeably faster and more stable while keeping the existing user experience intact. Requirements Strong hands-on WordPress development experience. Good experience with WooCommerce. Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills. Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins. Experience debugging existing WordPress websites. Understanding of WordPress performance optimization. Familiarity with PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals. Basic understanding of technical SEO. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems without constant supervision. To Apply, Please Send 2–3 WordPress/WooCommerce websites you have worked on. A short example of a WordPress problem you solved or improved. Your hourly rate and availability. Please start your proposal with “SUNSHINE” so we know you’ve read the full job post.
