This is a remote contractor role; we will confirm the recurring overlap window with the selected contractor. About the Role O8 is looking for an AI & Workflow Automation Specialist to design, build, document, and maintain reliable workflow automations across internal and client delivery operations. You should be hands-on with n8n—including self-hosted deployments—and comfortable turning operational requirements into secure, observable systems that keep working after launch. Key Responsibilities • Design and build production-grade workflows in n8n and connected tools. • Integrate APIs, webhooks, CRMs, enrichment systems, and other business applications. • Implement validation, retries, error handling, logging, monitoring, and safe escalation paths. • Document workflows, deployment/configuration requirements, and operational runbooks. • Partner with a delivery team to translate operational needs into maintainable automation systems. We're looking for someone who • Has hands-on experience building and operating production n8n workflows, including self-hosted n8n where applicable. • Understands APIs, webhooks, authentication, data mapping, and reliable failure handling. • Can explain how they test and monitor automations rather than treating them as one-off prototypes. • Is comfortable with practical AI/LLM workflow design, structured outputs, guardrails, and human review. • Communicates clearly, documents decisions, and can work independently in a cross-client environment. Nice-to-haves • Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud autoscaling experience. • Social publishing integrations. • Lead enrichment and outbound workflow tooling. • Apify, Apollo, and CRM integrations. • Practical AI/LLM governance and security experience.
