About Swerve TV Swerve TV is a leading FAST channel operator focused on sports, combat, and creator-led content. We currently are running 3 TV Channels in all major platforms (Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon TV, Tubi, Xumo…) and distribute programming across major connected TV platforms and are expanding into a new 4th channel. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Content Operations Coordinator to support the launch and ongoing management of the new channel. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys video editing, media workflows, digital operations, and working behind the scenes to help content go live smoothly. What You’ll Do You’ll support the day-to-day operations of getting content prepared, published, and channel- ready across our distribution platforms. Responsibilities include: Manage incoming media assets, including video files, images, and related materials Prepare content for publishing by editing videos, generating captions, organizing files, and ensuring assets meet required specifications Use our internal software to locate ad breaks, ad promotional content, etc. You’ll be creating the program that will air on TV Use internal tools and workflows to upload and distribute content as VOD across multiple platforms (Roku TV, Amazon Prime, Tubi…) Perform quality control checks on content, metadata, and visual assets. Troubleshoot workflow issues and escalate technical problems when needed Help improve operational efficiency through organization, consistency, and process feedback Communicate progress, priorities, and any blockers with the internal team What We’re Looking For Required Skills Strong video editing skills (Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut, etc.). Experience delivering and scheduling content for TV / Podcasts platforms. Basic technical confidence managing spreadsheets and running scripts or command-line tools. Reliable internet connection and ability to download/upload large files. Attention to detail and organization. Strong written communication and ability to work independently. Preferred Experience Experience in streaming, FAST channels, OTT, or digital media operations. Experience with Python scripts or automation tools. Familiarity with Frequency Studio. Familiarity with subtitles/captions (.SRT). Understanding of ad breaks, programming clocks and linear scheduling. Compensation Freelance / contract compensation based on experience and availability. Schedule Flexible hours, but responsiveness and meeting delivery deadlines are important. The content need to be processed and ingested in our system shortly after it is received.
