Summary

About the project LawYeah is a Berlin-based legal-tech marketplace that matches people with legal problems to the right lawyer. Users submit a case (with some AI-assisted clarification), we and our lawyer network review and match them, and users pick who to work with from there. A note on location We're based in Berlin and, for regulatory reasons, can only work with freelancers or agencies registered (Sitz or Betriebsstätte) in Berlin or Brandenburg. Please double-check your business address before applying. Where we stand today Live product with real users and a working backend end-to-end. We use Radix UI primitives and Tailwind extensively, but there's no shared design system above that — no tokens beyond Tailwind defaults, no Storybook, no design source of truth. Patterns are inconsistent across the three user roles (users, lawyers, admins), with legacy fragments here and there. The job Redesign our matching journey end-to-end — the flows users, lawyers, and admins move through as a case goes from intake to resolution. About 30 screens across three user roles. The goal is a cohesive product that feels like one considered whole, not three parallel apps stitched together — and, along the way, a proper Figma + Tailwind/Radix component library so future features can extend without re-inventing patterns. Full scope breakdown, screenshots, and project plan shared on shortlist. Two concrete deliverables: (a) Mockups / wireframes — tool of your choice (Figma preferred, Sketch / Framer / Penpot fine too). (b) UI implementation — production-ready React presentational components with Tailwind classes and Radix UI primitives, in our existing Next.js codebase. Components take props/callbacks as slots — no state, no Server Actions, no data fetching, no Supabase queries. We wire your components to backend logic ourselves after handover. This is real production shipping, but on the React side you just need enough fluency to compose JSX + props and work with existing Radix primitives — no React/TypeScript expertise needed. Our stack (for context) Next.js 16 · React 18 · TypeScript · Tailwind · Radix UI · Supabase · Resend. You'll thrive here if you - Have shipped complex, multi-role product interfaces before — not landing pages. - Think in flows and states, not just screens. - Are fluent in Figma (or equivalent) and comfortable writing Tailwind + Radix in JSX. - Can hold a design opinion and drop it when someone has a better one. - Bonus: marketplace, two-sided platform, or regulated-product experience. Engagement - Timeframe: ~2–3 months, part-time or full-time. Consistent blocks preferred over scattered availability. - Collaboration: weekly async updates by default, daily meetings on request. Remote-first, occasional in-person in Berlin welcome. - Rate: €30–60/h depending on experience and scope depth — happy to discuss on shortlist. - Start: in the next 3–4 weeks. How to apply Send 2–3 case studies of product interfaces you've designed and shipped (the messier and more real, the better), your rate, rough availability, and your business registration.
