# WordPress & WooCommerce Developer Needed for Food Ordering Website We are looking for an **experienced WordPress and WooCommerce developer** to improve, fix, and optimise our online food-ordering website. We currently operate two websites: * **A&Z Fish & Chips** — azfishnchips.co.uk * **Loose Pizza** — loosepizza.co.uk Both websites are built using **WordPress and WooCommerce**. Currently, customers visit the A&Z Fish & Chips website but are redirected to Loose Pizza to place and complete their orders. Our goal is to **combine the two websites into one simple, reliable, modern, and easy-to-use food-ordering website**. We do not want a complete rebuild unless it is genuinely necessary. Existing products, orders, customer data, and important WooCommerce functionality must be preserved. ## Main Requirements ### 1. Combine the Two Websites * Recommend the best approach for combining the two existing websites into one. * Preserve existing WooCommerce products, orders, customer information, and important functionality. * Avoid unnecessary rebuilding. * Ensure existing URLs, SEO, and redirects are handled correctly where appropriate. * The final website should provide a smooth and straightforward ordering experience. ### 2. Homepage & Website Design Redesign and modernise the homepage with a professional **restaurant/food-ordering style**. This should include: * Clear food categories * Attractive food images * Easy-to-use ordering buttons * Clear calls-to-action * Modern layout and typography * Easy navigation * Mobile-first design * Fast loading times The website must work properly across: * Mobile phones * Tablets * Desktop computers ### 3. WooCommerce Menu & Ordering Experience Improve the WooCommerce menu and product pages so customers can easily: * Browse categories * View food items * Select options/add-ons * Add products to their basket * Change selections * Review their order * Complete checkout The complete customer journey should be tested from **product selection → cart → checkout → payment → order confirmation**. ### 4. Fix Radio Buttons & Selection Options There are currently problems with radio buttons and selection options in the cart and checkout. The developer should: * Diagnose the existing JavaScript/PHP/plugin conflicts. * Fix radio buttons and product options. * Ensure customers can select options correctly. * Ensure selected options remain associated with the correct product. * Ensure selections are correctly saved in the WooCommerce order. * Test the functionality on both mobile and desktop. * Check for compatibility with the current theme and WooCommerce plugins. ### 5. Fixed Delivery Time Slots We need a reliable delivery-time-slot system. Customers should **only be able to select delivery times that we make available**. For example: we start doing delivery 4:00 pm till 9:30 pm customer only can select within time slot not before or after. Time slot available existing site just customer cant place out of opening time. ### 6. Thermal Receipt Printer / Automatic Order Printing This is an important requirement. When an online order is successfully placed, the order should **automatically print to our shop's thermal receipt printer** without staff having to manually open WooCommerce and click Print.
