6725 Cycles, Social Media Manager and content creator
Worldwide
Social Media Manager / Content Creator — 6725 Cycles & Broome Cycles We are looking for an experienced social media manager and content creator to help manage and grow the social media presence for two connected Australian cycling brands: 6725 Cycles— our own bike, accessory, and lifestyle brand built around solving real rider problems. Broome Cycles our retail bike shop, workshop, hire, and service business based in Broome, Western Australia. This is not a generic “post pretty Canva graphics” role. We are looking for someone who can understand our brand, our customers, our location, and our products — then turn raw photos, videos, product notes, workshop stories, and voice notes into strong social media content. About the Brand 6725 Cycles is built around one simple idea: “We see the problem before you do.” If a product carries the 6725 name, it exists because we have already solved a real-world rider problem. Our content needs to feel practical, confident, Australian, rugged, useful, and commercially sharp. We are based in Broome, Western Australia, so the brand has a strong Kimberley influence: red dirt, heat, tourists, locals, travellers, families, backpackers, and real riders using bikes in tough conditions. What We Need We are looking for someone who can help with: * Social media content planning * Instagram and Facebook posts * Reels and short-form video ideas * Caption writing in clear Australian English * Canva design * Product-focused content * Workshop and repair-based content * Behind-the-scenes content * Customer education * Sales-focused posts * Basic reporting and content performance review You must be able to take raw input from us — photos, videos, product notes, staff ideas, and voice notes — and turn it into finished content. Key Skills Required You should be strong in: * Social media strategy * Caption writing * Reels and short-form video hooks * Canva or similar design tools * Content calendars * Brand storytelling * Australian English * Facebook and Instagram content * Turning product features into customer benefits * Understanding what content drives attention, trust, and sales Experience with cycling, outdoor, adventure, retail, workshop, automotive, surf, travel, or regional Australian brands would be highly valued. Content Style The tone we want is: * Practical * Confident * Helpful * Australian * Rugged * Real-world * Not corporate * Not fake premium * Not full of empty motivational captions We do not want generic content like: “Unleash your adventure with premium biking vibes.” We want content that sounds more like: “Broome heat, red dirt, and rough paths destroy cheap bike gear fast. That’s why 6725 products are chosen around real local conditions — not catalogue theory.” What We May Provide We can provide: * Brand direction * Product photos * Workshop photos * Bike photos * Raw phone videos * Voice notes * Customer stories * Product notes * Existing brand guides * Local context around Broome and the Kimberley We need you to turn that material into a clear social media system. Questions for Applicants Please answer the following in your application: 1. Have you managed social media for a product, retail, outdoor, cycling, automotive, travel, or lifestyle brand before? 2. Can you write confidently in Australian English? 3. How would you approach learning the 6725 Cycles and Broome Cycles brand? 4. What content pillars would you suggest for a bike brand based in Broome, Western Australia? 5. How would you turn raw photos, videos, and voice notes into weekly content? 6. Can you create reels from raw phone footage? 7. What would your weekly workflow look like? 8. What tools do you use for content planning, design, scheduling, and reporting? 9. Please share examples of social media accounts or content you have created. 10. What results have you helped clients achieve — reach, engagement, leads, sales, or growth? Paid Trial Before committing to an ongoing role, we may offer a small paid trial. The trial may include: * A 7-day content calendar * Three Instagram/Facebook captions * Two reel ideas with hooks * One Canva post * One sales-focused product post This will help us see how well you understand the brand, the customer, the tone, and the commercial goal. Ongoing Role If the trial is successful, this could become an ongoing weekly role managing content for both 6725 Cycles and Broome Cycles. We are looking for someone reliable, organised, creative, commercially minded, and able to work from clear brand direction without needing every small detail explained. Please start your application with the words “6725 Social” so we know you have read the brief properly.
