AEM Back end Developer

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled AEM Senior Developer to develop, enhance, and support Adobe Experience Manager applications and cloud deployments. The candidate will work closely with architects, leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing AEM solutions using modern development practices and AI-assisted coding tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AEMaaCS, AEM Agents, cloud deployments, and enterprise integrations along with strong debugging and Java development skills. Key Responsibilities ● Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs, and backend services. ● Implement reusable and scalable AEM solutions aligned with enterprise standards. ● Work on AEMaaCS deployments using Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines. ● Use Cursor IDE and GenAI coding assistants to improve developer productivity and accelerate delivery. ● Configure and troubleshoot AEM Agents, dispatcher caching, and replication issues. ● Integrate AEM with REST APIs, third-party systems, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target. ● Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activities. ● Collaborate with front-end developers on SPA and headless CMS implementations. ● Write unit tests and maintain secure coding practices. ● Support production deployments and resolve critical issues. Must-Have Skills ● 5–8 years of software development experience. ● 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS. ● Knowledge of Edge Delivery Services and headless CMS architecture. ● Strong Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and servlet development experience. ● Experience with AEM Cloud deployments and Cloud Manager. ● Knowledge of AEM Agents, dispatcher configuration, replication, and caching. ● Experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or GenAI-based coding assistants. ● Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. ● Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. ● Experience with RESTful APIs and integrations. ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development. Nice-to-Have Skills ● Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target integration. ● React or Angular development experience. ● Experience with headless CMS and GraphQL APIs. ● Exposure to AI-assisted automation and development workflows.
