AWS Cloud Engineer (Part-Time / Full-Time) – Architecture, Design, Implementation & Support

Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, configuring, securing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure for production environments. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while ensuring high availability and operational excellence. Responsibilities • Design and implement AWS cloud architectures based on business requirements. • Configure and deploy AWS services in production environments. • Build highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. • Migrate applications and workloads to AWS. • Configure networking including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway, VPN, and Direct Connect. • Manage EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, Load Balancers, and Elastic IPs. • Deploy and manage containers using Docker, ECS, or EKS. • Configure storage solutions including S3, EBS, EFS, and Glacier. • Manage databases such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache. • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Set up CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. • Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and X-Ray. • Configure IAM roles, policies, MFA, KMS, Secrets Manager, and security best practices. • Optimize cloud performance and reduce AWS infrastructure costs. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues. • Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Required Skills • 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience. • Strong knowledge of AWS core services including: • EC2 • VPC • IAM • S3 • RDS • Lambda • CloudFront • Route 53 • ECS/EKS • CloudWatch • CloudFormation • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred). • Strong Linux administration skills. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with CI/CD automation. • Knowledge of networking, security, DNS, SSL, VPN, and firewalls. • Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions. • Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues. • Excellent communication skills.
