Accessibility Audit for Web, Android and iOS Education Platform — WCAG 2.2 AA

We are looking for an experienced accessibility specialist or consultancy to perform an accessibility audit of an education/reading platform available on Web, Android, and iOS. The audit should assess the platform against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and provide practical, developer-friendly recommendations for remediation. Scope overview The product includes multiple user types and experiences, including: School users: teachers and students Consumer users: parents and child profiles Web application Android application iOS application Login and onboarding flows Library/home experience Search and book discovery Reading-related flows Quiz/feedback flows Assignments Teacher/class management areas Profile switching and settings Story creation / content creation flows The detailed scope, screenshots, access instructions, and test accounts will be shared only with shortlisted candidates. Platforms to be covered Web desktop and tablet Android phone and tablet iOS phone and tablet Portrait and landscape orientation where applicable Light and dark mode where applicable For web, we expect testing on recent versions of major browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. For mobile, we expect testing on a reasonable mix of current and older supported OS versions. Foldables and Chromebooks are out of scope. Expected work We need both automated and manual accessibility testing, including but not limited to: WCAG 2.2 AA compliance review Keyboard navigation testing Screen reader testing Focus order and visible focus checks Color contrast review Touch target review Forms, errors, and validation review Mobile accessibility checks with VoiceOver and TalkBack Review of custom interactive controls where applicable Evidence for findings, such as screenshots or short videos Severity rating for each issue But most importantly we require Clear remediation recommendations Expected deliverables Accessibility audit report Executive summary Prioritized remediation backlog WCAG 2.2 AA compliance mapping Issue list with severity, affected platform, user impact, reproduction steps, evidence, and recommended fix Optional retest / verification report after fixes What we are looking for Please apply only if you have proven experience with accessibility audits for web and mobile applications.
