Accessibility and Post-Production Specialist

Project: Accessibility & Distribution Text Deliverables — Feature Horror Film Seeking an experienced accessibility/post-production specialist to produce closed captions (CAP and SRT/VTT) and a Combined Continuity and Spotting List. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and editing, ensuring high-quality output that meets accessibility standards. Familiarity with video editing software and a keen eye for detail are essential. ======================= We need a full set of text-based distribution deliverables for our English-language feature horror film, The Craving (approx. 100 minutes), to meet our sales agent's delivery requirements. Required deliverables 1. Closed Captions (CAP format) Complete English closed captioning file in CAP format, timecoded to match our HD master at 23.98psf, NTSC drop-frame timecode Timecode reference: program starts at 01:00:00:00 Accurate dialogue transcription with speaker identification, plus relevant sound effects and music cues Standard reading-speed and line-length conventions 2. Closed Captions (SRT/VTT) The same caption content also delivered as SRT and/or VTT, for streaming platform submission and general use 3. Combined Continuity and Spotting List (CCSL) Complete industry-standard CCSL for the feature, delivered as a Microsoft Word document Cut-by-cut frame and footage counts, location/camera angle notes, detailed scene description, music start/stop points, and complete main and end credits Timecode based on 23.98, first frame of picture at 01:00:00:00 If this isn't something you personally cover, please say so in your application — we're open to sourcing it separately if needed 4. Subtitle List (if applicable) If subtitles are included in the picture, a complete subtitle list with continuous 23.98 timecode reference, delivered in Word or comparable format 5. Audio Description Script Timecoded AD script describing key visual action, character movement, facial expressions, locations, on-screen text and other essential visual information Written to fit natural pauses without overlapping dialogue; flag any sequences needing extended description Main characters described consistently on first appearance Violence/horror content described objectively, not sensationalized We'll provide A password-protected, picture-locked digital file of the final film (NDA required before access) Shooting script for reference only — final picture differs in places, so all deliverables must be produced from the final film Exact master timecode and technical specs once the final ProRes master is complete Requirements All deliverables must be produced or fully reviewed by a human. Auto-generated captions or AI-drafted AD/CCSL content delivered without complete human correction will not be accepted. Deliverables must be compatible with standard industry distribution requirements (sales agent delivery schedule available on request).
