VendorGuard is a B2B software product that helps companies manage vendor onboarding, supplier documents, compliance readiness, expiry dates, renewals, and vendor status. The product is designed for companies that are still using spreadsheets, email chains, shared folders, and manual chasing to manage supplier readiness. We are looking for a part-time Account Executive who can run discovery calls, deliver demos, handle objections, and close customers. Company details will be shared with shortlisted candidates. All communication must stay on Upwork. Target Customers VendorGuard is aimed at companies that manage multiple vendors, suppliers, contractors, or service providers. Relevant sectors include: Property management Facilities management Construction Housing associations Care providers Professional services Operations-heavy midmarket businesses Buyer Personas You may be selling to: COOs Operations Directors Procurement Managers Compliance Managers Finance Directors Property Managers Facilities Managers Vendor Management teams What You’ll Do You will receive qualified demos and opportunities from our outbound team. Your job is to convert those opportunities into paying customers. Responsibilities include: Running discovery calls Understanding the prospect’s current vendor management process Identifying pain around spreadsheets, supplier documents, renewals, and compliance tracking Demonstrating VendorGuard clearly Explaining the offer and pricing Handling objections Sending follow-up messages Updating CRM records Closing customers Giving feedback on lead quality and messaging The Problem VendorGuard Solves VendorGuard helps companies that are struggling with: Supplier documents scattered across emails, folders, and spreadsheets Manual chasing for insurance certificates, contracts, compliance documents, and renewals No clear view of which vendors are approved, expired, blocked, or missing information Slow vendor onboarding Weak audit visibility Too much admin time spent managing supplier readiness Who We’re Looking For We need a commercially strong B2B seller who can understand operational pain and sell a practical software solution. You should be comfortable selling to operations, procurement, compliance, finance, and management buyers. Requirements Proven B2B sales or SaaS closing experience Comfortable running demos over Zoom or Google Meet Strong discovery and objection-handling skills Good written and spoken English Strong follow-up discipline Experience selling monthly subscription products Experience with compliance, procurement, workflow, operations, document management, or vendor management software is a strong plus Experience selling to property, construction, facilities, care, or professional services is a plus Compensation $30/hour Paid 14-day trial Bonus for closed customers Additional bonus for higher-value or multi-team accounts All payments and bonuses will be handled through Upwork.
