Account Manager Position Summary The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong client relationships, and achievement of business objectives. This role is responsible for managing client communications, coordinating internal resources, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, relationship-focused, and capable of balancing strategic conversations with day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and performance discussions. Understand client goals, challenges, and priorities to provide strategic recommendations. Ensure clients receive timely responses and proactive communication. Account Oversight & Project Coordination Manage the successful execution of client deliverables and initiatives. Coordinate with internal teams including sales, marketing, operations, and leadership. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and client expectations. Identify and resolve issues before they impact client satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of client communications and activities within CRM systems. Revenue Growth & Retention Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling services. Develop account growth strategies aligned with client objectives. Support contract renewals and retention initiatives. Monitor account health and proactively address potential risks. Contribute to revenue growth targets and client retention goals. Reporting & Performance Management Review campaign, project, and service performance metrics with clients. Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and strategic insights. Track client satisfaction and ensure commitments are fulfilled. Maintain visibility into account performance and business outcomes. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of account management, client success, customer success, or related experience. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM platforms and business software tools. Preferred Experience in B2B marketing, sales, technology, MSP, or professional services industries. Knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation, or revenue operations. Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms. Demonstrated success in client retention and account growth.
