UK Accountant for Small Consulting Company

Looking for an experienced UK-qualified accountant to provide ongoing support for a small consulting business and related personal tax matters. Looking to build a long-term relationship with the right accountant. ---UK Limited Company-- Single director/shareholder Consulting business Incorporated in September 2025 Invoiced one client until April 2026 Currently inactive due to maternity leave Not VAT registered yet (may register in the future) Ongoing services required Annual statutory accounts Corporation Tax return (CT600) Companies House filings (including Confirmation Statement) Director's Self Assessment Advice on salary vs dividends and tax planning Advice on VAT registration when appropriate General accounting and tax support as needed throughout the year --Additional one-off work-- Prepare a Self Assessment for self-employed consulting income earned before the Ltd company was incorporated. Advise on the UK tax treatment of a US Individual Retirement Account (IRA) withdrawal and assist with my Self Assessment if required. Ideal candidate ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent UK-qualified accountant Experience with single-director UK limited companies Strong knowledge of Corporation Tax and Self Assessment Familiar with HMRC and Companies House requirements Experience with Freeagent Experience with UK-US personal tax matters is desirable but not essential Please include in your proposal Your qualifications Years of experience Whether you work independently or through a regulated practice Experience with similar clients Your fixed annual fee for the ongoing work Pricing for the two one-off tax matters What is included in your annual package Looking for someone responsive, proactive, and interested in working with us over the long term.
