Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Associate (Remote) Wellness Tech USA — Houston, TX (Remote / Offshore) Job Description Wellness Tech USA is a healthcare technology startup based in Houston, TX. We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time remote bookkeeper/accounting associate to manage day-to-day financial transactions, process payroll, and maintain a weekly reporting dashboard. Schedule: 2–3 days per week, flexible hours, async-friendly, with occasional overlap with US Central Time for check-ins. Responsibilities • Maintain and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online • Process and categorize incoming payments from healthcare provider partners (PCPs) • Process payroll and properly categorize wages to the correct GL accounts • Manage recurring monthly subscriptions and miscellaneous expense tracking • Build and maintain a weekly financial reporting dashboard (cash position, AR from providers, payroll summary, expense summary) • Flag discrepancies or unusual transactions proactively Requirements • 2+ years bookkeeping experience, QuickBooks Online required • Experience processing US payroll (QBO Payroll or similar) preferred • Solid understanding of GL/chart of accounts structure and proper wage categorization • Experience with healthcare/medical billing-adjacent accounts a plus • Strong written English for async communication • Comfortable with spreadsheet-based dashboard reporting (Google Sheets/Excel) • Reliable internet and own equipment Compensation $200 per month, paid monthly.
