Accounting Manager
Worldwide
Schedule: Full-Time (40+ hours per week, depending on business needs) Working Hours: U.S. Central Time (CST) Role Overview If you love clean books, clear systems, and taking ownership of the accounting process—this role is for you. As an Accounting Manager, you’ll manage your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients, oversee day-to-day accounting execution, and assist with answering client questions as they arise. This role works primarily behind the scenes to keep financials accurate and organized, with occasional client communication—primarily via email. It’s ideal for an experienced QuickBooks professional who can work independently, communicate clearly when needed, and keep books clean without hand-holding. DiLucci CPA Firm has been serving business owners and real estate investors since 2005. For nearly two decades, we’ve built a reputation for doing accounting and tax differently—by prioritizing accuracy, communication, and proactive support instead of reactive clean-up. Our mission is to give clients clarity and confidence in their numbers so they can make better decisions year-round. We hold ourselves to a high bar: Genuine Care, Great Communication, Speed to Learning, and Fun Tax Energy. We believe great bookkeeping is the foundation of great tax strategy—and that clients deserve both accuracy and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities: Client Bookkeeping Ownership - Manage and maintain an assigned book of bookkeeping clients - Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online - Ensure accurate categorization, reconciliations, and financial reporting - Maintain clean, audit-ready books aligned with firm standards Client Communication & Support - Communicate clearly and professionally via email with clients regarding transactions, questions, and follow-ups - Proactively request missing information and resolve discrepancies - Escalate issues appropriately when needed while maintaining client confidence Back-End Bookkeeping Administration - Handle bookkeeping-related admin tasks including transaction reviews, reconciliations, and documentation - Maintain organized workpapers and supporting schedules - Track and manage deadlines across multiple clients - Ensure bookkeeping workflows are followed consistently and efficiently Quality Control & Firm Collaboration - Maintain high accuracy and consistency across all client files - Collaborate with tax, planning, and internal teams as needed - Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues and suggest process improvements - Uphold firm values through accountability, responsiveness, and attention to details Role Expectations - Independently manage a full bookkeeping client load - Maintain timely and professional client communication - Deliver consistently accurate financials with minimal rework - Meet deadlines and proactively communicate if issues arise - Operate with minimal oversight while following firm systems Requirements - 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience - Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online - Strong understanding of reconciliations, categorization, and financial reporting - Proven experience managing bookkeeping clients independently - Excellent written and verbal client communication skills - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable - No license required Our Core Values 1. Bring Fun Tax Energy We're genuinely obsessed with tax — the rules, the strategy, the wins for clients — and that obsession is contagious. We show up with real energy, take pride in the work, and make the experience good for each other and for the client. A great attitude isn't soft; it makes the work better and the people around us better. 2. Speed Drives Results We love to win, and winning means getting it done. Immediately. We learn fast, adapt fast, and move — because knowing the answer isn't the job, acting on it is. Momentum compounds: the faster we turn knowledge into action, the better the outcome for the client and the firm. 3. Own the Outcome The result is yours, full stop. We don't love excuses, even if they are real — we love getting results. We don't hand off problems, we solve them. We follow through on what we said we'd do, and when something's in the way, we do what it takes to get it done. No "not my job."
