Job Description (paste everything below) We are a family-owned printing and manufacturing company (est. 1979) running Acumatica Cloud ERP. We need an experienced Acumatica expert to design and deliver role-specific, modern dashboards for our Sales team and Customer Service team. The goal is to give both teams real-time visibility into the metrics that matter most—so they can track performance, spot issues early, prioritize work, and make faster decisions without digging through reports or asking for data. Project Scope Phase 1: Discovery (1–2 calls + review) Understand our current Acumatica setup, existing Generic Inquiries/reports, workflows, and pain points. Define the exact KPIs, filters, drill-down needs, and role-based access for each team (Sales Reps vs Sales Manager, CS Reps vs CS Manager). Review data sources (Sales Orders, Customers, Inventory/Stock Items, Shipments, AR Invoices, any Case Management or support tracking, Production Orders if applicable, etc.). Phase 2: Build Create or optimize Generic Inquiries (GIs) as the foundation (efficient joins, parameters, @me filters for personal views, groupings, calculations, conditional highlighting). Build clean, modern, responsive dashboards using the latest Acumatica dashboard features (Scorecard KPIs, Trend Cards, bar/line/pie/pivot charts, data grids/tables, etc.). Make dashboards role-based with appropriate security and personalization options. Ensure everything is mobile-friendly and performs well. Example metrics we’re targeting (final list confirmed in discovery): Sales Team Dashboards MTD / YTD revenue, order count, average order value vs targets or prior periods Sales by rep, by customer, by product/category Open orders / backlog with fulfillment status visibility Top customers & products, conversion or win-rate indicators (if data available) AR aging or outstanding receivables tied to sales activity Personal “My Sales” view for individual reps + manager overview Customer Service Team Dashboards Open cases/tickets by priority, status, age, and SLA compliance (if using Case Management) Resolution metrics (avg time to resolve, first-contact resolution %) Order status tracking and customer order history visibility Returns / RMAs and quality-related issues Workload distribution and team performance Customer 360-style quick views or key account health indicators Phase 3: Testing, Refinement & Handover User acceptance testing with our teams and iterations based on feedback. Publish dashboards with correct roles/permissions. Provide clear documentation (what each GI pulls, how to maintain or extend them). Optional short recorded walkthrough or live training session for our internal admin. Requirements – Please only apply if you meet these Strong, proven hands-on experience building Generic Inquiries and Dashboards in Acumatica (recent versions preferred — 2024 R2 / 2025 R1/R2 or equivalent with the modern dashboard engine). Solid understanding of Acumatica data model, especially Sales Order, Customer Management, Inventory, AR, and related modules. Manufacturing/Distribution or make-to-order experience is a big plus. Experience with role-based security, parameters (@me, date ranges, etc.), efficient query design, and performance considerations. Portfolio or specific examples of dashboards you’ve built (screenshots or anonymized descriptions are perfect). Excellent English communication and responsiveness. US-based or strong Mountain/Pacific time overlap preferred for discovery calls. Bonus: Experience with Acumatica Manufacturing Edition, UDFs, or integrating dashboards with other tools. Deliverables Fully functional, tested dashboards for Sales and Customer Service (role-based). All supporting Generic Inquiries. Documentation on structure and maintenance.
