Affiliate Contractor Reports to – VP, Brand Strategy Location: Remote Contract Role (Part-Time) - 10-15 hrs/week Role Overview The Affiliate Contractor is a remote role focused on the day-to-day management and growth of affiliate programs for Maven Consulting’s clients. This role is ideal for an experienced, data-driven affiliate marketer who thrives at the intersection of partnerships, commerce media, and performance marketing. The Affiliate Contractor will own program operations across networks (with a focus on Impact and AWIN), build relationships with affiliates, publishers, and commerce editors, and work closely with the earned media team to integrate affiliate strategy into broader PR and launch plans. Responsibilities Breakdown Affiliate Program Management Own day-to-day management of affiliate programs across networks, prioritizing Impact and AWIN Recruit, vet, and onboard affiliates, creators, publishers, and commerce editors Optimize program structures, incentives, commission tiers, and product feeds Maintain product catalogs, promo codes, UTM links, landing pages, and tracking infrastructure Partner with the earned media team to secure commerce coverage opportunities (gift guides, ranked lists, editor picks, etc.) Run performance optimization initiatives, including offer testing and partner analysis Monitor program health, attribution, fraud, and traffic quality Assist in updating monthly KPIs and reporting metric Affiliate Strategy & Integration Integrate affiliate strategy into PR calendars and launch plans Identify commerce media opportunities and affiliate-driven story angles Support seasonal campaigns with affiliate partner activations Recommend ways affiliate, influencer, and PR efforts can work together to drive results Analytics & Reporting Own affiliate performance reporting and dashboards Analyze revenue, traffic, conversion data, and partner performance Translate affiliate data into strategic recommendations Monitor commerce content trends and affiliate best practices Maintain relationships with top-performing affiliates, publishers, and commerce partners Build and manage affiliate databases, outreach records, and performance tracking systems Skills & Qualifications 3–5+ years managing affiliate programs for consumer brands Deep experience with Impact (required), including: Program setup Offer management Tracking troubleshooting Performance optimization Strong understanding of: Impact AWIN Commerce editorial and publisher networks Strong knowledge of attribution, analytics, and ROI measurement Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, link-tracking tools, and affiliate integrations Ability to build relationships with affiliates, publishers, commerce editors, and creators About Maven PR Founded in 2020, Maven PR launched with a mission to rework the conversation, shift the approach, and ultimately change the outcome for growing brands looking to garner real results from a powerful PR strategy.
