AI Agent Research & Implementation Lead

## **Overview** Crossnode is looking for an AI Agent Research & Implementation Lead to explore, design, and help implement AI agents that can automate internal operations, improve productivity, and support business growth. This role combines AI research, solution architecture, vendor evaluation, and practical implementation planning. The successful candidate will assess available technologies, identify high-value use cases, engage with industry experts and consultants, and propose scalable AI agent solutions for the organization. ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **AI Agent Research & Strategy** - Research and evaluate current AI agent frameworks, architectures, and orchestration platforms. - Identify the most suitable agentic architectures for Crossnode’s business needs. - Assess trade-offs between different approaches, including custom-built agents, commercial solutions, and hybrid architectures. - Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry best practices. ### **Use Case Discovery & Business Analysis** - Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation. - Brainstorm and propose new AI-driven use cases beyond currently identified initiatives. - Prioritize opportunities based on business impact, implementation effort, cost, and scalability. - Prepare business cases and recommendations for implementation. ### **AI Agent Design & Solution Proposal** - Design conceptual architectures for AI agents supporting functions such as: - Executive and personal assistance - Sales outreach and outbound communication - Market and competitive research - Project management reporting - Code review and development support - Documentation and diagram generation - Recruitment and talent sourcing (e.g., Upwork) - Additional business automation use cases - Present multiple implementation scenarios and alternatives, including associated costs, risks, and expected benefits. ### **Vendor & Consultant Evaluation** - Identify and engage AI consultants, agencies, and technology providers. - Conduct meetings and gather expert input regarding implementation approaches. - Evaluate consultant capabilities, pricing models, and delivery strategies. - Recommend suitable partners for future implementation phases. ### **Proof of Concept & Implementation Support** - Assist in defining Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for selected use cases. - Support the evaluation of AI tools and platforms through hands-on experimentation. - Document findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps. - Collaborate with leadership to define priorities and execution plans. ## **Deliverables** - AI Agent Opportunity Assessment - Prioritized Use Case Backlog - Architecture Recommendations - Vendor and Consultant Evaluation Report - Implementation Roadmap - Cost-Benefit Analysis - PoC Recommendations and Findings ## **Required Skills & Experience** - Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and workflow automation. - Experience evaluating AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies. - Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Strong analytical and research capabilities. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience engaging with external vendors, consultants, or technology providers. ## **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience designing or implementing AI agents in production environments. - Knowledge of multi-agent systems and agent orchestration frameworks. - Background in software development, product management, or solution architecture. - Experience with automation platforms and integrations (APIs, workflows, business systems). ## **Success Criteria** Within the engagement, the candidate will: - Identify the most promising AI agent opportunities for Crossnode. - Recommend a practical and scalable AI agent architecture. - Provide clear implementation options with cost and effort estimates. - Establish a shortlist of qualified consultants or implementation partners. - Deliver actionable recommendations that can move selected AI initiatives into execution.
