Agentic SEO & Content

Summary

We win deals against well-funded competitors on architecture, governance, and total cost — but too many buyers never find us, because we don't yet own the search and answer-engine surface where evaluations begin. We're hiring someone to change that, and to change how content gets made while they're at it. You will build and run an agent-driven content system: a workflow where AI agents research, draft, interlink, and refresh content against our keyword map — and where you, as the editor-in-chief and SEO architect, enforce a standard that no reader would ever call AI content. Everything we publish must be the most genuinely useful page on the internet for its query. If a page wouldn't help a Salesforce architect on a Tuesday afternoon, it doesn't ship. You will also own the health of our website itself: technical SEO, site architecture, internal linking, schema, Core Web Vitals, and the cleanup of legacy pages that actively steer buyers away from us. Increasingly, "ranking" also means being the source that ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews cite — you'll treat answer-engine visibility as a first-class channel, not an afterthought. What you'll own The agentic content engine Design and operate an agent-driven pipeline: keyword research → brief → draft → human expert review → publish → measure → refresh Build the guardrails — style guides, factual grounding from our product and real customer-call evidence, plagiarism and accuracy checks — that let agents produce at scale without producing spam Map content to our strategic surfaces: Salesforce DevOps & CI/CD, backup/archive/compliance (HIPAA, PCI, SOX), AI-agent and Data Cloud topics, managed packages, and comparison/alternative pages that intercept competitor evaluations Set the quality bar and personally edit what matters most. Class over volume, always. Website SEO Own technical SEO end-to-end: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, redirects, schema markup, page speed Audit and fix legacy content that damages our credibility or rankings Build internal-linking systems and topic hubs that compound authority over time Report on what matters: non-brand organic growth, rankings on money keywords, AI-answer citation share, and organic-influenced pipeline — not vanity traffic What success looks like in 12 months We rank page one for a meaningful share of our category keywords and show up as a cited source in AI answers for "Salesforce DevOps" and "Salesforce backup" queries Comparison and alternative pages reliably intercept competitor evaluations The content engine ships consistently, every piece passes expert review, and none of it reads like it was written to rank The website is technically clean, fast, and structured so that both search engines and LLMs understand what we do Who you are Deep, current SEO expertise. You've owned organic growth for a B2B website before — technical audits, content strategy, and measurement — and can show the numbers. You know what changed in search over the last two years and how AI answers are reshaping click behavior. You build with agents, not just prompts. You've designed workflows where AI does real production work — with retrieval, verification, human review gates, and measurement — and you can talk concretely about where agents fail and how you catch it. An editor's judgment. You believe most AI content is mediocre and you can articulate exactly why. You write and edit well enough to hold that line. Technical range. Comfortable reading a crawl log, editing a template, querying a database or API, and wiring tools together. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can't be blocked waiting for one. Domain curiosity. You can learn the Salesforce ecosystem — DevOps, data protection, compliance — deeply enough that practitioners trust what we publish. Prior Salesforce or DevOps experience is a strong plus. Ownership. This is a department of one (plus your agents) reporting to the CEO. You set the roadmap, defend priorities, and are accountable for outcomes. Why join Greenfield mandate: you'll build the content engine and the SEO program the way you believe they should be built, with executive sponsorship A product with real technical substance and proof points (SOC 2 Type 2, Salesforce-native architecture) that give you something worth ranking for We already operate agentically across go-to-market — you'll be pushing on an open door.
