Algorand Engineer

What you will be working on A regulated investment platform that uses blockchain to represent fractional ownership of real-world assets. Your scope covers the on-chain layer end to end: token issuance and lifecycle, custody and signing flows, the settlement smart contract, and pre-launch security audit support. What you will own • Token issuance and lifecycle — design, implementation, registry logic. • Custody and signing — wallet generation and integration with a multi-party / threshold custody arrangement. • Settlement smart contract — TEAL design, implementation, test coverage. • Pre-launch audit support — briefing the third-party audit firm and remediating findings. • Documentation and handover — written so the rest of the team can operate, reason about, and debug the on-chain layer. Must-haves — non-negotiable We are filtering hard. Please do not apply unless you can demonstrate the following: • Production Algorand experience. You have shipped ASA-based products to Algorand mainnet — please name them. • TEAL written for production. Not hackathons, not tutorials — real contracts running real funds. • Algorand SDK fluency — Python or JavaScript, including the indexer and node APIs. • Multi-party / threshold custody integration — you have wired a real custody partner into a production system. • Pre-launch audit experience — you have been on the receiving end of a third-party smart-contract audit and remediated findings. • Clear written English — our default communication is async and written. Strongly preferred • Real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation experience specifically. • Experience working under a financial regulator (FCA, MiCA, MAS, SEC — any). • Familiarity with batch settlement patterns and on-chain / off-chain reconciliation. • Open-source contributions to Algorand SDKs or developer tooling. What gets you to the interview faster • Code-level reference — GitHub, testnet contract addresses, redacted production snippet. • Speaking or writing publicly about Algorand or smart-contract design. • Existing relationships within the Algorand ecosystem (Foundation, audit firms, custody providers). Your multi-party custody integration experience — which provider, what scope, what scale. 4. Your rate — hourly with a weekly cap, or fixed-price for a defined milestone (your choice). 5. One question about the scope above that tells us you have read it. Please do not send: • Generic “blockchain developer” CVs. • Solidity portfolios with “I can pick up Algorand quickly”. • Agency proposals where you are not the named engineer doing the work.
