Allen-Bradley PLC/SCADA Engineer – BESS Controls (Modbus, Sungrow PCS/BMS)

Looking for an Allen-Bradley PLC/SCADA engineer for BESS control logic, Modbus integration, and Sungrow PCS/BMS system integration. Main Job Description (copy-paste) We are seeking an experienced Allen-Bradley PLC/SCADA engineer to support development and integration of control systems for a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) using Sungrow PCS and BMS. This role focuses on real plant-level controls, including interlocks, power control, and SCADA communication. Scope of Work Develop PLC logic using Studio 5000 (ControlLogix / CompactLogix) Implement BESS control logic: Charge / Discharge modes Start / Stop sequences System interlocks and permissives Integrate with: Sungrow PCS (inverters) Battery Management System (BMS) Configure Modbus TCP/IP communication Develop SCADA signal mapping (status, alarms, controls) Implement: Breaker control logic E-stop and safety interlocks Alarm handling and reset logic Requirements Must have: Strong Allen-Bradley PLC experience (Studio 5000) Experience with Modbus TCP integration Industrial automation / control systems background Preferred: BESS / renewable / power systems experience SCADA systems (Ignition, Wonderware, etc.) Deliverables PLC program (structured and documented) Tag list and signal mapping Control logic description SCADA integration support Project Context This is a real BESS deployment project, not a simulation. You will work with an experienced engineering team on a live system.
