Amazon FBA Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) – $650k/month Seller – Cleanup + Ongoing

We are an Amazon FBA-first brand doing approximately $650,000/month in revenue (99% Amazon, minimal Shopify). -------------------------------------------------- BUDGET & STRUCTURE - Fixed price: $3,000 total for cleanup of 6 months (January–June 2026) - After cleanup: Ongoing monthly bookkeeping expected at $400–500/month (separate ongoing contract) -------------------------------------------------- BACKGROUND We had professional, high-quality bookkeeping in place for 5+ years, but it stopped on Jan 1, 2026. This role is to continue from that point, clean up the backlog, and re-establish a proper system. We currently use QuickBooks. We are NOT currently using A2X or similar, and expect you to recommend and implement the correct system. -------------------------------------------------- SCOPE OF WORK PHASE 1 – CLEANUP + CONTINUATION - Continue from existing historical books (pre-2026 already complete) - Clean up January–June 2026 - Ensure continuity with prior bookkeeping structure - Reconcile all bank and credit card accounts - Deliver: - Monthly P&L (January–June) - Balance sheet - Fully clean, reconciled books PHASE 2 – SYSTEM SETUP - Implement proper Amazon accounting workflow (A2X or similar) - Connect Amazon to QuickBooks correctly - Ensure all Amazon settlements are mapped properly going forward PHASE 3 – ONGOING (MONTHLY CLOSE) - Monthly close by the 10th - Reconcile: - Bank accounts - Credit cards - Amazon settlements - Maintain accurate P&L and balance sheet - Properly track: - Amazon fees - refunds and reimbursements - ad spend -------------------------------------------------- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE) - Amazon FBA bookkeeping experience - Strong QuickBooks experience - Experience using or setting up A2X (or similar tools like Link My Books / Webgility) - Experience handling $300k+/month Amazon sellers - Ability to maintain and match an existing professional bookkeeping structure -------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT - We had clean books before Jan 2026 — this is a continuation, not a rebuild - We are NOT currently using A2X – you will be responsible for recommending and implementing the correct tool - We do NOT want manual Amazon bookkeeping - Accuracy is critical -------------------------------------------------- TO APPLY (REQUIRED) Answer the following: 1) How would you set up Amazon → QuickBooks for a business like ours? 2) Explain how A2X (or similar) works in your own words 3) How would you ensure continuity with an existing bookkeeping system? 4) What is the largest Amazon account (monthly revenue) you’ve worked on? 5) How long will it take to clean up 4 months of backlog?
