Job Description We are seeking a data-driven, strategic Amazon Expert to oversee the optimization, growth, and ongoing management of our Amazon Seller Central account. We sell a premium product in the consumer electronics category with a retail value exceeding $85. The primary objective for this role is to manage our advertising expenditure and organic visibility to meet and maintain a strict target profitability metric (Target ACoS). The ideal candidate must be highly analytical, focusing on bottom-line contribution margins and efficient budget allocation rather than driving generic, non-converting traffic volume. Key Responsibilities: Ad Campaign Management: Optimize and structure Sponsored Products campaigns (Auto, Manual, Phrase, and Exact match). Execute meticulous keyword pruning, bid adjustments, and negation routines to prevent inefficient spend. Placement & Bidding Strategy: Strategically adjust placement multipliers (Top of Search vs. Product Pages vs. Rest of Search) based on performance data to maximize ROI across distinct ad real estate tiers. Exact Match Scaling & Harvesting: Systematically harvest converting search terms from broad discovery campaigns and isolate them into dedicated, scalable Exact Match structures to build a predictable conversion pipeline. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Refine frontend product listing assets—specifically frontend titles and feature bullets—to maximize conversion velocity. A/B Testing Compliance: Conduct systematic split-tests of modified copy and creative using Amazon’s Manage Your Experiments (MYE) dashboard to elevate conversion rates safely without risking organic keyword de-indexing. Promotional Strategy Execution: Coordinate and safely apply promotional overlays (Prime Exclusive Discounts, Coupons, Lightning Deals) during major summer and Q4 promotional events while preserving baseline data integrity. Required Expert Profile: Margin-First Philosophy: Proven experience managing premium, high-ticket products on Amazon with an explicit understanding of Target ACoS, break-even contribution margins, and Total ACoS (TACoS). Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Sponsored Ads reporting, and the native Manage Your Experiments (MYE) suite. Granular Data Analysis: Ability to manipulate and analyze raw Search Term Reports (.xlsx/.csv) manually to implement precision changes, rather than relying strictly on broad automated software rules. SEO & Indexing Expertise: Strong structural understanding of Amazon's A9 search algorithm, keyword indexing, and front-loading strategies for listing text. Direct Communication Style: Ability to present performance updates using clear, objective data tables and charts without rely on vanity metrics or traffic volume abstractions.
