Job Description: I'm launching an Amazon dropshipping business on Amazon.ae (UAE marketplace) and need an experienced, self-driven Virtual Assistant to manage the entire operation from start to finish. This is a long-term, ongoing role for someone with hands-on experience in the UAE/Middle East Amazon market who can work with minimal supervision. Scope of Work (A to Z): 1. Account Setup Amazon Seller Central setup and configuration specifically for Amazon.ae UAE-compliant store settings: VAT registration, shipping templates, and Emirates-specific tax configuration Ensure compliance with UAE commercial regulations and Amazon.ae policies 2. Product Research & Sourcing Identify profitable, low-competition niches suited to UAE consumer demand (e.g., electronics, home goods, fashion, beauty, sports) Source from reliable regional and international suppliers (local UAE wholesalers, Dubai distributors) Analyze margins factoring in AED pricing, customs duties, and import costs Use product research tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Amazon.ae-specific data) 3. Listing Creation & Optimization Write keyword-rich titles, bullet points, and descriptions optimized for Amazon.ae search Create listings in both English and Arabic where applicable Upload product images meeting Amazon.ae standards Optimize for UAE buyer behavior and local search trends 4. Pricing Strategy Price products in AED competitively against local and regional sellers Account for UAE VAT (5%), customs duties, and last-mile delivery costs Implement repricing strategies to maintain Buy Box eligibility on Amazon.ae 5. Order & Fulfillment Management Process and coordinate orders with suppliers for delivery within the UAE and GCC region Track shipments through UAE logistics providers (e.g., Aramex, Emirates Post, Fetchr, Amazon Logistics) Handle cancellations and fulfillment issues specific to UAE delivery zones (including free zones) 6. Inventory Monitoring Monitor stock levels at the supplier end Manage listings for items with cross-border import lead times Keep listings accurate and compliant with Amazon.ae requirements 7. Customer Service Respond to buyer messages in line with Amazon.ae's service standards Handle returns and refunds per UAE consumer protection laws Manage A-to-Z claims and maintain strong seller metrics Communicate professionally in English and Arabic (preferred) 8. Account Health & Compliance Monitor Seller Central account health dashboard for Amazon.ae Ensure full compliance with Amazon's dropshipping policy and UAE e-commerce regulations Resolve listing suppressions, policy warnings, or account flags promptly Stay current with Amazon.ae-specific category restrictions and gating requirements 9. Reporting Provide weekly performance reports in AED (revenue, orders, profit margins) Track market trends relevant to the UAE and broader GCC region Suggest growth opportunities based on data Requirements: Proven experience managing Amazon.ae or Middle East marketplace stores (please share examples or results) Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central for Amazon.ae Understanding of UAE VAT rules, import duties, and e-commerce regulations Experience sourcing products for the UAE market (local, GCC, or international suppliers) Familiarity with UAE logistics providers and last-mile delivery Strong written English; Arabic language skills are a strong plus Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently Nice to Have: Experience with GCC marketplace expansion (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain) Knowledge of Amazon.ae PPC / Sponsored Ads Familiarity with UAE free zone regulations for e-commerce Experience scaling an Amazon.ae store to AED 30,000+/month
