AI Ambient Scene Animator — 2 Looping Videos for Audio Drama (YouTube)
Worldwide
I produce an original audio drama for YouTube — narration, sound design, and score, paired with ambient animated visuals instead of live-action or full character animation. Each episode has about nine key scenes, each needing its own short, silent, seamlessly looping video that plays behind the narration for the length of that scene. I'll provide the source still image and a written scene brief: what should move, what should stay still, mood, and pacing. Your job is to turn that into a subtly animated, loopable video that matches the brief closely — not a new interpretation of it. Think "living painting," not full motion video: grass stirring in a breeze, a light holding a slow ambient glow, clouds drifting almost imperceptibly. Minimal, restrained motion is the goal on almost every shot. This first job is a trial: two scenes for Episode 1 of a sci-fi dystopian series. If the work holds up, there's substantial follow-on work. The first season has 13 episodes with 9-10 scenes each. This is the first of several planned series across different genres (sci-fi, action-thriller, horror), each with its own visual style and its own batch of episodes. Visual style The look is locked and non-negotiable: painterly, atmospheric backgrounds with a cleaner, more graphic treatment on any foreground figures — closely modeled on the visual style of Arcane (Netflix), produced by Fortiche Production. Think loose, layered brushwork in the environment; crisp, defined edges on anything in focus. Sample stills are attached to this post, and a full written style guide (palette, lighting rules, texture treatment) is available to the freelancer we hire. Work that drifts toward photorealism, generic fantasy-game concept art, or a "clean AI" look is a mismatch for this project — I'm looking for someone who can either already work in this register or study the references closely enough to match it. What you'll do Take a provided still image and scene brief and animate it into a short looping video Match the specified motion precisely — including keeping a static, locked-off camera unless told otherwise Deliver a clean loop with no visible seam, sized to match the target scene duration Export with no audio track Revise based on feedback — I'll give specific, direct notes if something's off (pacing, motion intensity, camera drift) What I need from you Your own process for going from a still image to a controlled, minimal-motion loop (I'm not requiring specific software — AI-assisted, traditional, or hybrid workflows are all fine, as long as the result is precise and consistent) Comfort taking detailed creative direction and iterating without losing the original intent of the brief Ability to deliver a batch of 9 short clips within a tight timeline. Deliverable specs Format: MP4, no audio Resolution: 1920×1080 minimum (source stills are 16:9) Length: seamless loop, anywhere from 10-30 seconds per 2-3 rounds of revisions included per scene; reasonable additional rounds negotiable Budget Fixed price per finished, approved clip: Payment released per clip on approval, or in milestones — open to your preference. To apply Please include: 2–3 examples of ambient/atmospheric loop work (link or attached files) — bonus if anything in your portfolio is close to a painterly/Arcane-adjacent style A short description of your typical process, still image to finished loop Your estimated turnaround for this first 2-scene project and then for a 9-scene batch A quick note on how you'd approach matching a locked visual style from reference images — I want to know you can hold to a style guide, not just animate I'm looking for someone I can work with repeatedly — if this first batch goes well, expect ongoing project work across multiple series.
