AR & AP Analyst / assistant controller

The Opportunity Ardent Global Logistics is one of the fastest-growing international logistics companies in the country, and we're looking for an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Analyst to help build a best-in-class finance function. This role is much more than processing invoices. You'll work alongside leadership to improve cash flow, strengthen customer relationships, streamline processes, and help build the financial foundation of a rapidly growing company. What You'll Do Manage the accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliation. Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments. Communicate professionally with customers and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. Monitor aging reports and proactively reduce outstanding receivables. Reconcile customer and vendor accounts while maintaining accurate financial records. Partner with Operations and Sales to resolve invoice disputes and improve billing accuracy. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and workflow efficiency. Support month-end close activities and other accounting projects as needed. Who You Are You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in getting the little things right. You are proactive, accountable, and not afraid to pick up the phone to solve a problem. You believe great customer service extends beyond sales and operations into every financial interaction. Must-Haves Exceptional attention to detail and organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve. Nice to Have Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain. Experience with QuickBooks, CargoWise, Magaya, or similar ERP/accounting systems. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or General Accounting. Why Ardent?
