Android Developer (Kotlin / Jetpack Compose) – Simple App Enhancement

BUDGET IS A PLACEHOLDER AT THE MOMENT I have paid more than 105k+ USD to freelancers in last few months. I have worked with more than 130 developers here and currently working with 130 developers. I am looking for an Android developer to work on a relatively straightforward application. The project is not highly complex, and modern AI tools can be used to accelerate development, so I am primarily looking for someone who is practical, efficient, and reasonably priced. Required Skills: ✔ Native Android development (Kotlin) ✔ Jetpack Compose ✔ MVVM architecture ✔ REST API integration ✔ Room database ✔ Firebase (basic integration) ✔ Git / GitHub ✔ Experience connecting to third-party SDKs or hardware APIs is a plus What matters most to me: • High availability during the project. • Good communication. If I send a message during working hours, I expect an acknowledgement within about 15 minutes whenever possible. • Ability to work independently and provide regular progress updates. • Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity. I do NOT require: • A large agency. • A senior architect with 10+ years of experience. • A polished Upwork profile with hundreds of reviews.
