Android and Apple Mobile App Testing

We are looking for an experienced QA Testing Specialist to perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of our mobile trading application, 9xMarkets, available on both iOS and Android. The app is integrated with our proprietary CRM and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Manager APIs, allowing clients to register, manage accounts, fund accounts, and trade financial markets directly from their mobile devices. Before launching our marketing campaigns and scaling user acquisition, we want to ensure the application is stable, secure, performant, and capable of handling real-world trading activity without crashes or critical defects. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will be responsible for: • Complete end-to-end testing of all app workflows • Account registration and onboarding • Login, authentication, and password recovery • Trading account creation and management • Deposits and withdrawals • MT5 account integration and synchronization • Trade execution workflows • Notifications and alerts • User profile and settings management User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Review the application from an end-user perspective • Identify usability issues and friction points • Validate that workflows are intuitive and reliable • Provide recommendations to improve user experience Performance Testing • Measure app responsiveness and load times • Identify slow screens, bottlenecks, and API delays • Test behavior under varying network conditions • Assess battery and resource consumption Stress & Stability Testing • Test application stability during extended usage • Identify memory leaks and crash scenarios • Simulate high-volume user actions • Validate recovery from network interruptions • Verify performance under heavy trading activity Reporting • Create detailed bug reports with screenshots and videos • Classify issues by severity and priority • Deliver a final QA report summarizing findings • Recommend fixes and improvements before launch Required Experience Mandatory: • Proven experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android • Strong understanding of financial trading platforms • Hands-on experience with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) • Experience testing trading-related functionality such as orders, positions, balances, and account management • Ability to document and communicate defects clearly Preferred: • Experience with brokerage, forex, CFDs, commodities, or financial services applications • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman • Experience with performance and load testing tools • Familiarity with MT5 Manager APIs Deliverables • Comprehensive test plan • Test execution report • Detailed bug reports with reproduction steps • Performance and stress testing report • User Acceptance Testing report • Final launch readiness assessment and recommendations
