Animated Explainer Video for Research

We're producing a short, engaging animated explainer video that translates the findings of a real workplace research study into a clear and compelling narrative. The video should be about 2 minutes long and effectively communicate the research insights to a broad audience. We're looking for freelancers with experience in animation and video production to bring this project to life. More Info: Overview We're creating a short (about 2 minutes) animated explainer video and need a talented motion designer to bring it to life. You'll work from a finished script and storyboard (provided by our scriptwriter) and produce a polished, animated video — visuals, motion graphics, simple character animation, on-screen text, and timing synced to a voiceover. We're after a clean, modern, friendly explainer style — the kind of approachable animation used by educators and startups to make an idea click. What You'll Receive as Input A finished voiceover script (~2 minutes). A scene-by-scene storyboard describing visuals, narration, on-screen text, and timing. Notes on tone, character, and visual style. You'll turn these inputs into the final animated video. (A voiceover may be provided, or we can discuss generating/sourcing one — please tell us what you can support.) The Content The video explains, in a fun and accessible way, a real workplace study on working from home: a company ran an experiment, found that home workers were more productive but less visible to managers, and saw the biggest gains once employees could choose for themselves. A relatable office-worker character carries the story. Full storyboard and script will be provided. Deliverables A finished ~2-minute animated explainer video in HD (e.g., 1080p MP4). Animation synced to the script/voiceover, including motion graphics, transitions, simple character/scene animation, and on-screen text. Editable project/source files on request. Skills We're Looking For Motion graphics and 2D animation (e.g., After Effects or equivalent). A portfolio of explainer / animated videos (please include links — this is essential). Ability to work from a storyboard and stay faithful to it while elevating it visually. Good sense of pacing, typography, color, and clean visual design. Audio/voiceover syncing; basic sound design a plus. Responsive communication and comfort with a fast turnaround. Timeline This is a fast-turnaround project over the next few days. We'll need style frames quickly after kickoff, a rough draft soon after, and the final video within the project window. Please only apply if you can start right away and commit to a tight schedule.
