2D Animated SaaS Product Video — Characters & Motion Graphics

We are looking for an experienced animator specializing in SaaS product and demo videos to produce a high-quality animated marketing video for a B2B SaaS platform. The video must combine 2D cartoon characters with motion graphics to tell the story of our platform — the problem it solves, how it works, and the value it delivers to our users. A detailed visual reference including color palette, scene concepts, copy, and layout direction will be provided as a starting point. What You'll Do: • Produce a fully animated short-form SaaS product marketing video combining 2D characters and motion graphics • Animate flat cartoon characters that bring the platform story to life • Work collaboratively from a provided visual reference and creative brief to develop the final animated video • Bring your own creative expertise to the execution while staying true to the brand direction • Deliver milestone drafts for review and incorporate feedback across revision rounds • Deliver final production-ready files in all required formats including landscape and square versions What We're Looking For: • Proven experience producing animated SaaS product or demo videos — portfolio required with at least 2 relevant examples • Strong 2D character animation combined with professional motion graphics capability • Ability to work collaboratively from a creative brief and contribute your own expertise to the final product • Professional B2B enterprise tone throughout • End to end production capability including animation, voiceover sourcing, and final delivery • Clear communicator with a structured milestone based workflow Nice to Have: • Experience with enterprise software or government technology product videos • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects or equivalent professional animation software • Ability to source or produce a professional voiceover • Delivery in both landscape 16:9 and square 1:1 formats • Character rigging experience for smooth expressive animation Project Details: • Timeline: 2 to 3 weeks from kickoff • Less than 30 hours per week • Duration: 1 to 3 months with potential for additional work based on project outcome • Additional details and visual reference materials shared after selection • Immediate start preferred
