Animatic Artist — turn our locked script into a fully-timed animatic to hand over to our motion

Summary

We have a 5-minute product film in progress. The voiceover script is locked, and the product is built. We also have a skilled motion designer ready to take the film to finished animation. What we need is the person in between: someone who takes our locked script and turns it into a fully-timed animatic to hand over to our motion designer, who animates it to finished. What this is — and what it isn't The script is locked. This is not a writing or story-invention job. We are not looking for a new narrative or a rewrite. Small script tweaks are welcome if they genuinely help the visuals, but the story and the words are set. Your job is to visualize that script — decide what happens on screen, scene by scene — and build the animatic: storyboard cut to the voiceover, with the key compositions (our "bentos") designed to a clear, on-style look. This is not the final animation. You produce the animatic and hand it over to our motion designer, who takes it to finished animation. The real challenge — read this before applying Our locked script is full of abstract, high-concept ideas that have to become vivid film, not text on screen. Below is one real scene. The whole job is turning material like this into an animatic a viewer feels. Our screening questions ask you to do exactly that with it — so read it closely. This Sene 2 is used to answer our questions for you: SCENE 2 (voiceover): Welcome to LightSail — a Reading-Level Adaptation Engine, built with OpenAI to disrupt EdTech. It starts with V1, built and ready to deploy today: disruption one, K-12 — matching the rigor of the premium EdTech platforms at up to ninety percent less cost to districts, and surpassing them on pedagogy, with questions built on the latest science of reading and content that meets students where they live, in the TikTok world. OpenAI's brand sits front-and-center in millions of classrooms, driving brand awareness, renewal, and revenue on every interaction. Not an engine anyone can swap out. And Ladder V2 extends the same engine into three more disruptions: two, Workforce — the learning-and-assessment layer for OpenAI's committed ten million certifications; three, community-college remediation; and four, CTE/TVET. Four disruptions, one engine — and the rest of this film shows V1, the one that's built and ready to deploy. What you'll deliver A fully-timed animatic built from our locked script — visuals scene by scene, cut to the voiceover, establishing pacing, flow, and camera. The key bento / modular-grid compositions and frames (there are 8 of them in the video), designed to a clear, on-style look. Everything handed over animate-ready to our motion designer. What we provide The locked voiceover script and audio, full product material, and a walkthrough of the app. The reference film and our existing scene documentation. Our motion designer, who takes your animatic to finished animation. What we need in your proposal A fixed price for the animatic (visualization + timing + designed key compositions).
