TradePro Marketplace Growth Operator (Pilot City Launch) Overview TradePro is a workforce marketplace connecting contractors, laborers, and apprentices in the construction industry. We are launching pilot markets in: Pittsburgh (Primary) Phoenix Austin Raleigh The product is 95% built, and we are now focused on zero-to-one marketplace growth and user acquisition. Mission: Your job is NOT general marketing. Your job is to: Build marketplace liquidity in pilot cities by acquiring the first active contractors and laborers. Success means: Contractors posting real jobs Laborers actively applying Apprentices joining the platform Repeat usage in a single city Responsibilities: Build and execute a cold-start marketplace strategy Acquire first contractors in Pittsburgh (then expand) Recruit laborers and apprentices into the platform Create local distribution channels (trade schools, contractors, unions, job sites) Design onboarding funnels for both sides of the marketplace Drive real usage (not just signups) Identify scalable acquisition channels for each city What We Are NOT Looking For: Branding or logo design Social media management SEO or content marketing Paid ads optimization without strategy ownership Ideal Experience: Marketplace launches (Uber, Airbnb-style cold start experience) Staffing / recruiting / workforce platforms Construction or skilled trades experience (strong plus) Local market expansion experience Two-sided platform growth Goal: Phase 1: Pittsburgh liquidity (active users + job flow) Phase 2: Expand to Phoenix, Austin, Raleigh Long-term: scalable repeatable city launch system Budget: Open to proposals based on experience.
