Apparel Production Coordinator & Sourcing Specialist
Worldwide
We are an emerging clothing brand in the early stages of establishing our supply chain, and we are looking for a remote Apparel Production Coordinator / Sourcing Specialist to help us transition from design to physical production. You will work closely with our founder (based in Los Angeles, PST) and our Product Developer (based in Argentina) to take finalized tech packs and bring them to life. Our manufacturing will be based in China and/or Europe. Sampling Management: Handle the entire sampling process from initial proto-samples to Pre-Production (PP) samples. Review physical samples against tech packs for accuracy. Vendor Relations & Negotiation: Act as the primary point of contact for factories. Negotiate MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), pricing, and production timelines. Production Coordination: Oversee the production timeline, ensure deadlines are met, and problem-solve any manufacturing or shipping delays. Tech Pack Handoff: Receive completed tech packs from our Product Developer and translate/explain them clearly to factory engineers to minimize errors. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in apparel/clothing manufacturing, sourcing, or production coordination. Deep understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and the sampling process (Fit samples, PPS, TOP). Ability to spot manufacturing flaws and communicate technical corrections to factories. Experience navigating Chinese manufacturing ecosystems (WeChat communication, Alibaba, etc.) and/or European apparel suppliers. Flawless professional English (written and spoken). Strong organizational skills—you will be managing multiple style timelines at once.
