Summary

We are looking for an experienced, long-term Apparel Tech Pack Designer to partner with us as we launch and scale a new clothing line. This is an ongoing role with no set design limit—we are starting with an initial batch of 22-30 styles, but we plan to continuously develop new collections, styles, and iterations over time. We have already done the foundational work for our initial launch. We have compiled a "Product Workbook" containing our first 22 styles (athletic shorts, joggers, tanks, polos, tees, underwear). Each style has front and back reference screenshots along with notes detailing our vision. We are not designers ourselves, but we have a crystal-clear vision. We need a professional who can take our conceptual workbooks and seamlessly translate them into manufacturing-ready technical blueprints. Key Responsibilities: Convert our screenshot references and written notes into clean, flat vector technical sketches (Front & Back views). Create complete tech packs including Bill of Materials (BOM), construction details, stitching specifications (e.g., flatlock, overlock), and trim/hardware callouts. Establish initial size specification sheets (Spec Sheets) using standard industry measurements for men's sizing, and provide full size grading (e.g., S through XL). Work closely with us on a rolling basis as we continuously hand off new batches of designs. Project Scope & Workflow: Immediate Work: An initial baseline of 22 styles to get us ready for manufacturing. Long-Term Work: Ongoing, unlimited design support as we expand the brand and introduce new collections. Deliverables must include clean PDF tech packs and editable source files (Adobe Illustrator .AI preferred) for every style. Requirements: Proven experience creating tech packs specifically for men's activewear, athleisure, or premium streetwear. Strong understanding of garment construction, sizing specs/grading, performance fabrics (nylon/spandex blends), and heavy streetwear knits. Mastery of Adobe Illustrator for technical flat sketching. Excellent communication skills and patience working with a founder who provides clear concepts but is non-technical.
