Appointment Setter – Government Outreach (Remote)

We are seeking a highly organized and professional outreach specialist to help schedule meetings with local government officials across the United States. This is a remote contract position focused on email outreach, follow-up communication, and appointment setting. Contact lists, training, messaging guidelines, and target organizations will be provided. Responsibilities • Send 75–100 personalized emails per day using company-provided contact lists • Write short, personalized outreach emails (typically 3–4 lines) • Follow up with interested contacts and non-responders • Schedule meetings with qualified government officials • Track outreach activity and responses • Maintain accurate records in CRM and spreadsheet systems • Participate in weekly performance reviews Requirements • Excellent written English • Strong attention to detail • Professional communication skills • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and web-based software • Ability to work independently and consistently • Previous experience in appointment setting, outreach, virtual assistance, customer service, or sales support is preferred Important • AI-generated emails are not permitted in this role • Outreach emails should be brief, conversational, and personalized • Most emails will be 3–4 lines in length • Quality and relevance are more important than lengthy messages Performance Expectations Success will NOT be measured by the number of emails sent. While this role requires sending 75–100 personalized emails per day, performance will primarily be evaluated on: • Appointment requests generated • Qualified meetings scheduled • Positive response rates • Follow-up completion rates • Overall contribution to business development efforts We are looking for someone who can start conversations and generate interest—not simply send emails.
