Appointment Setter — Webinar Invite Calls to US Executives
Only freelancers located in the U.S. may apply.U.S. located freelancers only
Description: We're hosting a small, private online webinar for senior business leaders on July 28, and need a polished, US-based caller to invite our contact list and confirm registrations. You'll call ~about 400 executives (CEOs, Presidents, and senior marketers) — a mix of prior contacts and new outreach — during US business hours between July 7 and July 24. We provide the list, a short script, and talking points. Sound like a gracious executive assistant calling on the founder's behalf: warm, professional, respectful of their time. Tone and judgment matter far more than call volume — this is a senior audience, and one pushy call costs us a relationship. We are not hiring a high-volume, hard-closing dialer. Requirements: *Based in the US with a native American accent — you'll be speaking with senior US executives *Experience calling decision-makers with a calm, consultative phone presence *Comfortable with the realities of executive outreach: navigating assistants and front desks graciously, leaving strong voicemails, and making multiple attempts to reach the right person *Reliable and self-directed; quiet workspace and clear phone line Logistics: *Window: July 7–24; US business hours; up to ~4 focused calling hours/day *Expect to reach many contacts on the 2nd–4th attempt — voicemails, callbacks, and follow-ups are part of the job *Hourly via Upwork with a weekly hour cap *Log outcomes in [our CRM / a shared Google Sheet] To apply — required (proposals without these are skipped): 1. A 30-second voice recording reading the script below (MP3 or Vocaroo link or other) 2. One or two sentences on your experience calling senior executives Audition script (read warm, unhurried): "Hi [Name], this is [your name], reaching out on behalf of our founder about a private webinar we're hosting for business leaders on July 28th. I wanted to personally invite you and see if you'd like a seat — is now a bad time?" Screening questions (set as required in Upwork): 1. Attach a 30-second voice recording of the audition script. (Required.) 2. Where are you located, and is English your native language? 3. An executive says "I'm not interested." What do you say next? 4. A gatekeeper says the executive "isn't available" and asks why you're calling. What do you say? 5. What US-time zone hours can you call between July 7 and July 24? Thanks.
