ArcGIS Analyst Specialist for Mapping and Analysis

Overview We are seeking a skilled ArcGIS (ESRI) specialist to produce high-quality maps and spatial analysis outputs based on existing examples and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed maps and performing spatial analysis to meet project needs. Familiarity with ArcGIS software and spatial data analysis is essential. Scope of Work You will be responsible for Creating polished map layouts and visualizations in ArcGIS Pro working with Shapefiles, Geodatabases and Raster and vector data. Performing: Spatial analysis, Data cleaning and preparation, and Georeferencing (if needed). Replicating and improving existing map styles and outputs (examples provided in a PDF) Exporting deliverables in PDF (print-ready), High-resolution images, and ArcGIS project files (.aprx). Project Details Initial project is to create and improve several (~14) maps based on provided examples. Ongoing work likely for the right candidate. Turnaround expectations: 24–72 hours per deliverable depending on complexity Requirements (Must-Have) Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro (ESRI) Ability to produce professional-grade cartographic outputs Experience with Coordinate systems & projections, Symbology and labeling best practices, and Layout design (legends, scale bars, annotations). Fluent or strong written English. Fluent or strong verbal English a plus. Availability during U.S. Eastern Time (±1–2 hours preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Solar (Photovoltaic) layout/planning, urban planning, infrastructure, or environmental mapping. Spatial data visualization for reports and clients. Familiarity with Python (ArcPy) or GIS automation and QGIS (secondary) Located in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, or nearby time zones Quality Standard (Important) We are looking for clean, modern, and presentation-ready maps, not raw GIS outputs. You must be able to Match styling from provided examples, improve clarity and visual hierarchy, and Ensure maps are suitable for client-facing reports.
