ArcGIS Indoors Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Indoors Specialist to prepare floor-aware indoor maps for an indoor navigation and spatial intelligence platform. The initial scope includes a healthcare facility and a university campus deployment and forms part of a larger initiative focused on indoor navigation, wayfinding, and spatial data management. The platform will provide intuitive room search, floor switching, and metadata-driven navigation experiences for visitors, staff, and administrators through web and mobile applications. The selected specialist will work with CAD floor plans, room names and numbering, floor PDFs, and Excel files containing Points of Interest (POIs), metadata, and user access permissions. Responsibilities include processing and geo-referencing building floor plans in ArcGIS Indoors, creating floor-aware indoor datasets for rooms, corridors, stairs, elevators, entrances, and common areas, importing and structuring metadata and POIs, configuring searchable attributes and basic routing networks, and publishing map services and APIs that can be integrated by our development team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with ArcGIS Indoors and ArcGIS Pro, strong knowledge of indoor mapping and navigation workflows, experience working with CAD drawings and publishing ArcGIS services, and the ability to collaborate closely with developers to deliver accurate, scalable, and well-documented indoor mapping solutions. This engagement may lead to long-term collaboration on additional buildings, campuses, and larger spatial intelligence projects.
