Architect for Medical Office Design

We are seeking an experienced architect to prepare preliminary architectural layouts for a new medical office building in Sheffield, North Alabama. Project Overview: * New construction on an approximately 4-acre lot * One-story building * Target size: approximately 15,000 square feet, with a possible range of 12,500–17,500 square feet The immediate scope is preliminary architectural design and medical space planning. We are looking for practical, code-aware layouts that consider ADA accessibility, patient and staff circulation, waiting and reception capacity, exam rooms, clinical support areas, imaging requirements, laboratory space, building services, and efficient use of the available square footage. Initial deliverables should include one or more preliminary floor-plan concepts, a basic space program, and preliminary building/site planning as appropriate. Healthcare, or medical office experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with applicable U.S. commercial building codes, ADA requirements, and healthcare planning standards is important.
