Architectural Designer Needed to Prepare Construction Documents from Existing Revit Model

We are an architectural and engineering design firm looking for an experienced architect or architectural designer to assist with an active project. We already have a 3D Revit model of the project, and we need someone to take over the model and develop it into a complete construction document package. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced with Revit, architectural detailing, sheet setup, construction documentation, permit drawings, and coordination with engineering disciplines. Project Scope: The selected architect/designer will be responsible for: - Reviewing the existing 3D Revit model - Understanding the project design intent and current model status - Organizing and cleaning up the Revit file as needed - Developing the model into a complete architectural construction document set - Preparing floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other required sheets - Adding dimensions, tags, annotations, notes, legends, symbols, and code-related information - Coordinating architectural drawings with structural, civil, MEP, and other consultant drawings - Preparing drawings suitable for permit submittal, contractor coordination, and construction use - Incorporating client comments, consultant coordination comments, and agency/city plan check comments - Maintaining clean Revit organization, view templates, sheet standards, line weights, and drawing consistency Deliverables May Include: - Complete architectural construction document set - Cover sheet and sheet index coordination - Site plan and floor plans - Roof plan - Exterior elevations - Building sections - Wall sections and architectural details - Door and window schedules - Finish schedules, if applicable - Reflected ceiling plans, if applicable - Code notes and general notes - Permit-ready PDF set - Updated Revit model Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should have experience with: - Preparing construction documents from Revit models - Residential and/or commercial architectural projects - Permit submittal drawing packages - Architectural detailing and documentation - Revit modeling and Revit sheet setup - Construction document standards - Coordination with structural, civil, MEP, landscape, and interior design consultants - Responding to plan check comments - Producing clean, professional, and buildable drawing sets Software Skills Required / Preferred: - Strong Revit experience is required - AutoCAD experience is a plus - Bluebeam experience is a plus - SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, or rendering experience is a plus, but not required Working Relationship: This may start with one active project, but we are also looking for reliable architects and architectural designers we can work with on future residential and commercial projects. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the documentation process, communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and produce a professional construction document package from the existing Revit model.
