Summary

Work Hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, Full-time position Rate: Negotiable Architectural Drafter Responsible for preparing complete construction drawing sets based on approved design plans, including structural drawings, roof plans, sections, and construction documentation for residential, multifamily, and small commercial projects. Reviews site plans and project requirements, ensures compliance with applicable building codes, manages revisions, coordinates with internal teams, and delivers accurate, construction-ready drawings. No design work is required. Requirements * 3+ years of architectural drafting experience required * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is required * Experience preparing residential or light commercial construction documents * Strong knowledge of wood-frame construction and structural drafting * Familiarity with New York building codes, zoning regulations, and U.S. imperial units of measurement (feet, inches, square feet, etc.) * Ability to produce accurate, detailed construction drawing sets independently * Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
