Architecture Portfolio Designer Needed I’m looking for an experienced graphic/portfolio designer with a strong understanding of architecture to help me create a professional portfolio for my architecture degree. The portfolio will showcase my academic architecture projects, including drawings, plans, sections, elevations, renders, diagrams, models, and other project work. I have the project materials and content; I need someone who can turn them into a cohesive, polished, visually compelling architecture portfolio. What I’m Looking For I’m looking for someone who has experience with architecture portfolios, architectural presentation, editorial/layout design, or similar creative work. You should have a strong eye for: Clean, modern architectural layouts Typography and hierarchy Page composition and visual storytelling Architectural drawings and diagrams Image selection and placement Consistent grids, spacing, and graphic language Creating a portfolio that feels professional rather than overly templated I want the final portfolio to feel intentional, sophisticated, and visually cohesive, while still allowing each project to have its own identity. Responsibilities Review my existing architecture projects and materials Help determine the strongest way to organize and present the work Create the overall portfolio layout and visual style Design individual project spreads/pages Properly arrange drawings, renders, diagrams, photographs, and text Improve visual hierarchy and readability Make sure the portfolio has a consistent graphic language throughout Make minor edits/corrections to images or drawings where needed Deliver a polished, print-ready and digital version of the portfolio Provide the editable source file so I can make future changes Ideal Candidate You should: Have previous experience designing architecture portfolios Understand architectural drawings and terminology Have a strong graphic design and typography background Be proficient in Adobe InDesign (required) and preferably Photoshop/Illustrator Have a strong portfolio demonstrating similar work Be able to take direction and incorporate feedback Have excellent attention to detail Be able to make design decisions independently when appropriate What I’ll Provide I will provide the materials for my projects, which may include: Plans Sections Elevations Renders Sketches Diagrams Site/context drawings Model photographs Project descriptions Text and other supporting material I’m open to your recommendations regarding page layouts, sequencing, typography, colors, and overall presentation.
