2D UI/UX Artist, Assets Creator and Animator for Video Games in the Arcade Industry
Worldwide
We're looking for a talented 2D artist and designer to help us create UI/UX and 2D art for the various games we work on. Core Responsibilities & Skills: 1- Game UI/UX Design Design menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, and other UI elements Create clear visual hierarchies that guide the player's attention Design interfaces that match the game's genre, world, and atmosphere Focus on both visual quality and usability 2- 2D Game Assets Create 2D assets for use in video games Design assets that can be properly integrated into game engines such as Unity Create art that fits naturally within the game's world and visual style 3- 2D Character Design & Animation Design 2D game characters Create character animations using sprite sheets / frame-by-frame animation Work with 2D rigging systems when appropriate 4- Technical Knowledge Understand the technical requirements of preparing and optimizing art assets for game engines Properly import and organize assets within a game project Understand the technical limitations and requirements involved in creating art for games 5- Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required) 2D VFX: Particles, transitions, feedback effects, and other elements that improve game feel Unity and/or Unreal Engine experience: Ability to import and set up your own assets in the engine, making collaboration with developers easier 3D asset creation To Apply Please include: A brief introduction about yourself and the types of projects you have worked on A portfolio showcasing your previous work Examples of game UI/UX, 2D game art, character design, and/or animation you've created We are specifically looking for individual freelancers and solo artists, not agencies. If you are an Agency, please do not apply.
