3D Artist / Digital Sculptor Needed to Convert 2D Concept Design into Production-Ready STL

We are looking for an experienced 3D artist or digital sculptor to convert an existing 2D concept design into a high-quality, production-ready 3D model for resin printing. We already have the basic 3D model of the product. The goal of this project is to recreate the decorative artwork shown in our 2D concept design as detailed 3D relief sculpture and integrate it naturally onto the curved surface of the existing model. The concept artwork includes organic decorative elements such as vines, leaves, ferns, insects, and other nature-inspired details. This is not simply an automatic image-to-STL conversion project. We are looking for an artist who can interpret the 2D concept, recreate the decorative elements in 3D, and integrate them onto the existing model while preserving the overall composition and appearance of the original artwork. The final model will be manufactured using high-resolution resin 3D printing, so the artist should understand appropriate relief depth, minimum feature sizes, surface quality, and printable geometry. Scope of Work The selected artist will: ---Use our existing 3D model as the base model. ---Recreate the decorative elements shown in the provided 2D concept artwork as detailed 3D relief sculpture. ---Integrate the decorative artwork naturally onto the curved and irregular surfaces of the existing model. ---Closely maintain the composition, placement, and artistic appearance of the original concept. ---Keep designated functional areas and openings unchanged and unobstructed. ---Adjust relief depth and fine details to ensure they reproduce clearly when resin printed. ---Produce clean, watertight, manifold geometry suitable for STL export and production. ---Make reasonable revisions based on our feedback and initial test prints. Required Skills We are looking for someone with experience in: ---ZBrush, Blender, or similar digital sculpting software. ---Organic sculpting and decorative relief design. ---Converting 2D concept artwork into detailed 3D models. ---Sculpting and applying artwork to curved and irregular surfaces. ---Preparing STL files for SLA/MSLA resin printing. ---Creating clean, watertight, production-ready geometry. Experience creating collectibles, miniatures, jewelry, decorative products, fantasy objects, or other highly detailed models for resin printing is strongly preferred. Deliverables The final deliverables should include: ---Production-ready STL file. ---Editable source file (ZBrush, Blender, or equivalent). ---Decorative relief artwork fully integrated with the provided base model. ---Clean, watertight geometry suitable for resin printing. ---Reasonable revisions following our review and initial test print. When Applying Please include: ---Examples of previous digital sculpting work, particularly decorative reliefs, organic designs, miniatures, jewelry, collectibles, or models created for resin printing. ---The software you primarily use. ---Your experience preparing models for SLA/MSLA resin printing. ---Whether you can provide the editable source file in addition to the final STL. ---Your turnaround time. ---A brief explanation of how you would approach converting a detailed 2D concept design into relief sculpture on an existing curved 3D model. Applicants whose experience is primarily architectural visualization, product rendering, or mechanical CAD modeling may not be a good fit. We are specifically seeking someone with strong digital sculpting and decorative surface modeling skills.
